This month we completed GTA’s 10-week introductory course with 34 students, two groups at Met West High School and one at First Place for Youth. It was a great way to test the curriculum, class size, and receptivity to the concepts/material. More than 80% of participants said the tools they learned in the class had already influenced some of their decisions. Sixty-75% of the students felt they could apply what they learned to upcoming decisions about summer plans, education and housing. Today we begin a new class, testing a condensed version of the curriculum, at the Center for Young Women’s Development.
On other news, the Yale School of Management has highlighted us in its alumni newsletter and the article will be published in the next printed version of their Q magazine. Check it out!
